I hope this message finds you well. We are having tough times here at Crown Heights. Please don't visit until I tell you so. This place is a havoc. The Jews and the black are going hard against each other. I was thinking if I could move out. You know I have mentioned that blacks and jews never get along very well. This is is way way way over the board. It all happened when a jewish guy ran over a black kid in the streets. You see, I believe he did not do that on purpose. And that's what some people told me. What would he get if he run over a kid after all? People went crazy on this incident. Blacks were starting riots and they killed an innocent Jewish person. They also killed a person mistakenly, thinking that he is Jew. That is how crazy it is over here. I am trying to avoid going out because you never know what will happen there. What's more crazy is that the leaders of either group aren't trying to cool down this situation. It feels like they were waiting for this moment to go hard on each other. They are all talking about the struggles they have had throughout their entire history. What does Holocaust has to do anything with this incident? I saw a placard saying Jew lives aren't cheap. They say black lives matter. Why don't they accept each other, see everyone equal and calm down. Is there not a single person to calm everything down. Now you may think why I don't get out talk this out. I am scared of my life, I am not even going out. And I am telling you, this is not the right time to show up in town. Tell everyone that I am safe here and say my regards to them. I will see you whenever possible.
